"The idea is tostrengthen and to increase long-lasting energy,flexibility, andconfidence,"explains Bill Wiles,a consultant pain doctor in Liverpool. "Patients undergoing this therapy getback to work and resume healthy active lifestyles much sooner than thosesubjected to more conservative treatment. "
